A safe place for the fictions and characters of my mind to romp. A sanctuary of sorts where the inmates roam free and unaware of each other. Worlds that slide past each other like zephyr, crossing the same space without disrupting their breathy bodies.
The Asylum:
Think Louisiana swamp territory, the old plantation house with Ivy dripping like a mad dog's drool from half rotten bannisters. Think the court house, broken by earthquakes and the only resident: decay. Think Wayne Manor, the caves beneath laced with electronics, state of the art trans-dimensional field repressors that hold the worlds apart and inside, where they aren't a threat to themselves and society.
The worlds where the inmates live; worlds a step out of phase that keep the inmates occupied and away from each other, away from the real world.
The Inmates:
Take Happy Jack, he used to be a psychopath. OK, so he used to be a mass-murderer. But he got better. Got let out anyway. He's a fully rehabilitated member of society now. He holds fondue parties none of his neighbours attend, although he doesn't understand why. He's adjusted. Unless you actually really provoked him somehow he would't do anything like skin your feet and legs and turn the skin into rope to hang you with. Probably.
